I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years and am well-versed in creating print and digital designs using professional page layout software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. Even though I have access to and the ability to use professional design software, I have been returning to Canva over and over. I use the Pro version because I want full access to all of the photos, graphics, and fonts plus the brand kit for my logos, custom fonts, and colours. If you don’t need those, the free version is sufficient. It is perfect to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos, invitations and so much more. There is a desktop application for Canva, plus phone and tablet apps as well. So accessible that sometimes I’ll create content on my phone while waiting in line at the grocery store.

I created a list of Canva keyboard shortcuts and am sharing it with you. You can download the pdf file (grab it below), print it, and keep it handy.
